Aruba Networks announced this month that it has acquired AirWave Wireless, long known as the “Switzerland of network management” because the company’s product interoperates with virtually all Wi-Fi networks regardless of manufacturer. Aruba’s move is a gamble that could pay big dividends, but also could backfire. Let’s take a closer look at AirWave and then examine the possible upsides and downsides of this acquisition.
