This report considers the impact of game console brands and hardware on the devices/technologies found in a consumer’s household. Supporting the analysis is data collected from a primary study conducted in March 2011, which was fielded in the following countries: US, France, Germany, UK, China, India, and South Korea. The report is structured as a PowerPoint file with data and analyst commentary. While all generations of game consoles were considered, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Nintendo’s Wii, and Sony’s PS3 (along with the PS2) were the most-owned consoles.
