On August 30, the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) announced that it had passed the milestone of 100 certified devices. More than 45% of those certifications have come within the last 20 months, illustrating the growth that the group has seen in the marketplace. The certified products include routers, gateways, set-top boxes, bridges, ONTs, and cable modems. Many service providers in the United States, including Comcast, Cox Communications, and Dish Network, have announced that they will use MoCA for various home networking services.
