Finally, 3G in Thailand

While the rest of the world is bathed in 3G mobility and beginning to transition to 4G, mobile consumers in Thailand are just welcoming their very first and long overdue 3G network. In a surprise move, Thailand’s private operators, TrueMove, DTAC, and Advance Info Science, have all launched 3G services during the past few months. Before this, Thailand was the only ASEAN country without a 3G network despite its strong economic standing.
