Ruggedized Device Market Gets Smart – Intermec Acquires Enterprise Mobile

In mid-March, Intermec, the ruggedized mobile handheld company, purchased Enterprise Mobile, a lifecycle mobility management firm, giving Intermec the assets to extend its own mobility management services beyond its ruggedized devices to most of the major smartphone platforms including Blackberries, iOS, Android, and Windows.
