Is the Automotive Market Ready for Turbine Power?

There have been many attempts to find a way to bring turbine technology to the automobile industry since it was first used for aviation during the Second World War. However the concept never made it into production. The mostly likely answer is that the product was simply too risky for an industry that was increasingly run by accountants and lawyers.
