Mobile Hotspot Routers Readied to Overcome Carrier Multi-Device User Issues

Consumers and business users alike want to connect many different mobile devices to the Internet – handsets, portable computers, media tablets, digital cameras, gaming handhelds, and more – anytime and anywhere. Current network operator solutions require paying to have a 3G modem built into each device and signing up for multiple, separate mobile data subscriptions. The emergence of the mobile hotspot router – a battery-powered box roughly the size of a smartphone that provides Wi-Fi access to multiple devices using a single 3G/4G mobile subscription – could fundamentally change the way that mobile communications occurs in the near future. Mobile hotspot routers are poised to address a growing problem in countries where the multi-device user is becoming prevalent.
