IBM, Microsoft Move Over, Here is the HP Cloud

Recently, HP CEO Léo Apothekar announced that his company will “build and manage” an HP cloud, adding “our vision is to provide seamless, secure, context-aware experiences for a connected world.” HP proposes to view this connected world as one continuum, acknowledging that boundaries are blurring between the enterprise and the consumer worlds. HP plans to port the Palm legacy, the webOS platform, onto each one of the laptops and PCs it sells, going beyond market speculation that it will integrate the OS only in tablets and smart devices.
