BMW Selects MILE Traffic and Travel / ITIS as Real-time Traffic Information Vendor in Europe

At CeBIT 2011 in Hannover, Germany it was ITIS Holdings company MILE Traffic and Travel's turn to announce a major car OEM win: BMW. ITIS’s PrecisionTrafficTM solution will initially be available in Germany on all new BMW models starting in September. It is based on anonymous signaling and mobile location data from more than 17 million mobile devices provided by Telefonica O2 Germany. This follows an earlier announcement from INRIX, which is providing pan-European traffic information to Audi.
