Nokia, Our Platform Is Burning!

An internal memo from Nokia CEO Stephen Elop to the company’s employees has been leaked to internet new sources. The content shows the level of concern the new executive has for Nokia’s current business situation. Several strategic “misses” and a lack of internal collaboration have resulted in a straightforward call-to-action because “Nokia, our platform is burning.” Whether the memo is real or not, it reflects many of the issues that Nokia is facing as it looks to reinvigorate interest in its brand and handset leadership.
