Zurich Partners with Trimble and SmartDrive on Fleet Risk Management in North America

Fleet management vendor Trimble and insurance provider Zurich have entered a partnership whereby Trimble will provide telematics hardware enabling Zurich to offer an integrated fleet risk management program, Zurich Fleet Intelligence (ZFI), to its insurance customers. The partnership will allow both to reduce operating costs and improve productivity as well as enhance safety. Features include journey planning optimization, fuel economy improvement, defensive driving training, coaching and development, and reduced environmental impact. A similar partnership is set up with video-based driver safety and fleet management system vendor SmartDrive.
