A New Alliance Forms to Push 60 GHz Connectivity

There is clear and growing interest in the potential for 60 GHz connectivity, and May saw the launch of a new 60 GHz industry group. The newly-formed Wireless Gigabit (WiGig) Alliance brings together more than 15 companies and aims to develop and promote 60 GHz wireless connectivity across a broad range of applications.
