Handset Accessories Market to Give Up Star Player for the Environment

The accessories market is set to lose one of its highest ranking product categories in terms of revenues and shipments. As handset manufacturers begin to comply with the latest GSMA initiative in 2012, the long standing practice of having a phone charger in every box will begin to wane and possibly disappear completely. While this may be bad news for charger manufacturers, positive business potential exists for handset manufacturers, operators, and consumers.
