Nokia Announces "Pre Alpha" of MeeGo Platform for Handsets

Amid the excitement of Apple’s iPhone 4 release and a credit rating cut, on June 30, Nokia announced “Day 1” of the its MeeGo platform for handsets. According to Nokia, the “fully productized” version of the platform should be available in October 2010, with the anticipation that demo handsets will be showcased at Nokia World 2010 in September.
