ZigBee Advances On Mobile Handsets, but Competition Will Be Fierce

The ZigBee Alliance recently announced its ZigBee Telecom Services application profile that extends the potential reach of the technology into the world of low data rate-based mobile handset connectivity. It’s an ambitious move and one that pitches ZigBee against strong and more established competition.
