Mobile Broadband Modem Vendors Send Mixed Signals on Q3'09 Performance

It was a busy end to October for publicly-traded cellular and mobile broadband modem vendors. Novatel Wireless, OPTION NV, and Sierra Wireless all announced 3Q 2009 fiscal results the same week. Results were mixed, reflecting strategic changes issued earlier in 2009 along with course corrections heading into 2010. Will vendors continue on a path to recovery or rest on their laurels, while network operators and channel partners burn through piles of inventory to close out the year?
