Nokia's Play to Bring Mobile Services to the Masses

While smartphones are all the rage, it is easy to forget that the overwhelming majority of the world’s more than three billion mobile phone users can neither afford nor have much use for the features offered by these headline-grabbing handsets. This is, of course, the segment with the big money; high profit margins, and high consumer appeal. However, any player wishing to take advantage of the mass market must have a strategy in place to harness this fastest growing mobile sector. Nokia is one company that is doing just that.
