Sound absurd? If you read some of the comments left below the stories discussing Sony’s possible plan for $40 early movie rentals, you might be inclined to think just that. Then again, we would be remiss to pass this off as some kind of gimmick. Really!? $40 for a movie? After the initial shock passes, it starts to make more sense, honestly.
