Why Mobile Bill Pay Attracts Players Other Than Banks

A large number of adults in both the developed and developing worlds pay bills, propelling bill payment to the ranks of death and taxes in terms of inevitability in today’s world. As for the other component of that equation, bill issuers are eager to find ways to cement consumer compliance with prompt payments. The Internet has played a big part in this process over the past six or seven years, facilitating the ease and rapidity with which consumers can settle their bills. The Internet has also essentially created a new business player— the bill pay aggregator, which until now has fallen mostly under the purview of banks. But are there more changes in store for the world of billing?
