Annual RFID End User Survey
More Than 185 Organizations Share Their RFID Adoption Plans
More than 185 organizations from around the world responded to ABI Research’s annual RFID end-user survey. In this report we provide the high-level, top-line results from our online survey. This research study includes analysis of respondents’ RFID usage plans, primary adoption drivers, operating frequencies and applications being supported and evaluated; current and planned RFID expenditures; hardware requirements; vendor sources and selection criteria; and demographics. Non-user responses are also briefly analyzed to gain perspective into reasons for not adopting RFID. The respondent pool includes replies ranging from manufacturing to retail to government, representing organizations of various sizes, revenue classifications, and lines of business. The results offer a sample snapshot view of the broader end-user community trends to consider in the development of more detailed market models and business strategies.
