Entertainment for today’s consumer is no longer limited to watching television. Evolutions in technology and the development of new products and solutions have given consumers a variety of entertainment options. From video-based content to gaming, the industry has come a long way. As with television programming, the market for video games has also developed over generations, and is today a billion dollar industry. In the early days of video games, consumers would play games on their PCs; today, however, almost all mobile phones have built-in gaming features. As the rules of marketing and distribution have changed, the video game market has undergone revolutionary changes to meet the requirements of a technology savvy consumer.
