Intel, 45-Nanometers, and Code Names

The semiconductor industry is on the move. The shift to 45-nanometer process technology is the next engineering milestone and is expected to boost processor performance, while reducing size, energy use, and manufacturing costs. It will also address a power leakage problem common with current technologies.
