The femtocell market is evolving; its nature changes every day; and, more importantly, the barriers peddled by naysayers as the omens that portend a timely death of the femtocell concept continue to change. Those arguments put forward have centered on issues with in-band interference, interface with core network, and femtocell management, among others, but the biggest issues surround the business model.
