Wireless Technology Analyst Kelvin Chan Joins ABI Research

ABI Research is pleased to announce the appointment of wireless technology expert Kelvin Chan to the position of Industry Analyst, M2M Connectivity.
Based in Singapore as part of ABI Research’s Asia Pacific research practice, Kelvin Chan is an industry analyst covering cellular machine-to-machine and wireless networking at ABI Research.

Prior to joining ABI Research, Kelvin was a team leader at iWOW Technologies, where he was responsible for product development and pre-sales activities. His previous experience includes technical marketing, product and technology research activities in a start-up dealing with wireless power applications and development.
Earlier, he served as a research fellow, examining Ultra Wideband technologies and Cognitive Radio at the University of Birmingham in the UK. He has also filed two UK patents in relation to antenna and transceiver architectures. In addition, he has published extensively in IEEE journals and presented his work in major international conferences in the USA and Europe.
Kelvin holds a PhD majoring in Radio Frequency & Microwave Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK.
